One of the producers of the widest range of dairy products in Uganda Fresh Dairy has announced a reloaded package and re-branding for all its Yoghurt.
This was today at a launch of the new product Mixed Berries that took place at Serena hotel Kampala where it was revealed to public by the Marketing Director of the company Mr Oliver Mary that this is one of their ways and strategies of satisfying the constantly changing customer needs as they widen their market base both in Uganda and the East African region at large.
“The newly re-branded Yoghurt comes in five flavours of strawberry, Vanilla,Mango,Plain and the latest addition of flavour (Mixed berries) all packed in sizes of 450g,250g to 100g cups” Said Oliver.
Oliver added that the company recently installed a fully automated Yoghurt plant that processes and packs all the Yoghurt that they produce with minimal human contact.
“The Yoghurt plant which is worth an investment of 1.4m USD has a capacity to handle 80,000 litres of Yoghurt daily.” Oliver added.
On the same function Joseph Awino the General Manager sales and marketing said that they do tests daily in order for them to come up with the best products.
Here he recommended innovation as the best way of managing the growing number of customers that they have who age between 2 to 85 years of age.
The function was also embraced by Dr Anna Rose Ademun Okurut,the assistant commissioner veterinary diagnosis and epidemiology in the ministry of agriculture animal industry and fisheries who advised Ugandans to increase on their levels and capacity of farming which will enable them earn enough.
