A suspected Allied Democratic Forces(ADF) rebel was on Sunday lynched in Kasese district.
The suspected rebel was killed by the residents of Nyamisule Village in Kitooro Sub County Kasese District .
According to Solomon Kihangwa, a resident of Nyamisule village, the rebels came two to Kighuramu trading centre in Kitooro Sub County and were seen not to be familiar to the entire community.
The LCI Chairperson Nyamisule village, Kithambalha Benon said the residents started making alarms which led to the arrest of one and the second one escaped and is still at large.
He further said that Police, UPDF in partnership with the concerned residents have launched a serious manhunt for the second suspected rebel who escaped.
