The Kingdom of Busoga Premier has castigated the Kingdom haters who have now decided to start using security agencies in their fight.
Dr Joseph Muvawala who is also the Executive Director of the National Planning Authority has told the media at the kingdom headquarters that one ‘female traitor’ to the kingdom was behind the kidnap of the Busoga State Minister for Agriculture Matiya Wakalali.
He revealed that the traitor made false reports against Wakalali lying that he (Wakalali) was recruiting rebels and terrorists with an intention of toppling the regime.
“But it is not government that arrested him. I want to put it clear that there is no fued between us as an institution of Obwakyabazinga and government but some individual used her friends in CMI to kidnap him,” said Muvawala.
*Wasting time*
But Muvawala laughed at the move and said it was a scare which could not shake the kingdom.
“Those who feel the reigning Kyabazinga (Gabula) should not be on the throne should be patient because the constitution (of Busoga) is very clear that he will be the Kyabazinga until he takes his last breath.”
This comes at the up heal of the wrangles between Persis Namuganza the junior land minister also member of parliament for Bukono county and the speaker of parliament Rebecca kadaga who also doubles as the MP for Kamuli district.
Apparently Namuganza recognises Prince Edward Columbus Wambuzi as the true King of Busoga whereas Kadaga supports the reigning Kyabazinga Gabula William Nadiope IV.
