Newly appointed Security Chiefs have already arrived at parliament for their vetting.
The parliamentary appointments committee headed by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga is today expected to vet Gen. Elly Tumwine, the newly appointed security minister,Okoth Ochola, the new IGP and his deputy Brig Sabiiti Muzeei.
According to Helen Kaweesa, the acting director communication and public affairs, President Yoweri Museveni wrote to Parliament notifying Kadaga about the new appointees that require approval.
The appointment of the three security chiefs came at the backdrop after the firing of Gen Kale Kayihura and his longtime archrival Gen Henry Tumukunde last Sunday.
