Former opposition stronghold Beti Kamya yesterday proved to the nation she is not turning back to her old roots after showing that ‘yellow’ blood is the only thing she feels in her veins.
The current Minister for Kampala was once an NRM critic and she reached an extent to stand for presidency in 2011 to oust her current boss President Yoweri Museveni.
Now after landing a juicy ministerial post back in 2016, Kamya has been changing her ways progressively to fit the NRM standards and now she is almost there after starting to wear the official colour of the incumbent party.
Last Sunday, Kamya was among those NRM ‘members’ who were fully dressed in yellow as the party celebrated the age limit victory organized by the Government Chief Whip, Ruth Nankabirwa in Kiboga district.
