A “Kakise” bus number UAS 437/P today afternoon rammed into a building on Kyaggwe Road, opposite Post Bank Uganda close to Kiseka Market and killed a vendor as well as leaving many with severe injuries.
According to sources, the driver lost control and rammed into road side vendors thus crashing them.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the accident and said only one person identified as Lilian Babirye, 16 was killed by the bus.
“We have arrested the driver Michael Omoding 49 who will be charged with causing death through reckless driving,”Owoyesigyire said.
