Sports Club Villa Jogoo Salongo will resume training on Thursday, 18th January 2018 ahead of the second round for the Azam Uganda Premier League as well as the 44th edition of the FUFA Uganda Cup.
The development has been confirmed by the head coach, Wasswa Bbosa on Wednesday.
This follows close to a month of rest for the players through Christmas and the new year celebrations.
“We shall return to training this Thursday, 18th January 2018 at Villa Park, Nsambya starting at 3 p.m. All our fans, partners and sponsors are informed” Bbosa confirmed to the club website.
The Jogoos are top of the league with 32 points from 15 matches ahead of the league second round.
In the same vein, SC Villa Jogoo will play Hope Doves at Masaka Recreational Stadium in Masaka during the round of 64 game in the FUFA Uganda Cup.
All the players apart from the three who traveled with the Uganda Cranes team to the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco are expected for training.
Team captain, Bernard Muwanga who is also the Uganda Cranes captain at CHAN 2018 is away for national duty alongside defender Joseph Nsubuga and stylish midfielder Allan Kyambadde.
Meanwhile, the league second round shall kick off on 10th February 2018.
