The flying squad in North Kyoga region yesterday evening recovered two Magazines, 34 rounds of live ammunition, a pair of military boots and two UPDF Exercise books.
The items were recovered from Omerogweno village, Lwala Parish, Okwerodot Sub County in Kole district.
North Kyoga region police spokesman David Ongom says this was after the arrest of one Dick Obwol 20 years selling a magazine loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition which he claims he handed it over to the DISO Alebtong District which police is yet to confirm.
“He later led us to the home of one Ogal Gustavia 62 where we recovered two other magazines buried in a heap of rubbish”. Says Ongom
The two are currently being held at Lira CPS pending interrogations.
