Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) confirms the two international friendly matches that Uganda Cranes will play before the TOTAL CHAN tournament in Morocco.
‘On Saturday, 6th January 2018, Uganda will face Guinea before taking on Congo on Tuesday, 9th January 2018’ Ahmed Hussein, the FUFA Spokesman, who also traveled with the team to Morocco noted.
Head coach Sebastien Desabre believes the two international build up matches will help fine tune the team ahead of the 2018 TOTAL CHAN tournament.
‘These two build up matches are geared towards assessing the players’ readiness for the main tournament.’ Sebastien said in an earlier interview.
After the two build ups, the final team of 23 players will be communicated by the head coach who is working closely with his other technical staff (Fred Kajoba and Mathias Lule).
The team left Entebbe via Doha on Wednesday for a 10 day training camp in Morocco.
At CHAN 2018, Uganda Cranes is in group B alongside Zambia, Cote D’Ivoire and Namibia.
