Igara West MP Raphael Magyezi has described the recent report that 85 percent of his voters don’t support the age limit bill as total rubbish.
Magyezi, the controversial bill mover said the people who carried out the opinion poll were basically ‘togikwatako’ agents and they conducted the exercise while putting red combats.
“The report that claims that 85% of my voters oppose my proposed bill is total rubbish. The people who carried out the poll in Igara West are Togikwatako agents. Their poll is biased,” said Magyezi while addressing journalists on Tuesday at parliament.
The survey was conducted by a section of civil society organizations and it indicated that 85 percent of Ugandans do not support the proposed constitutional amendment and in Igara West alone 83 percent of the sampled females and 88 percent males didn’t support the amendment.
