At the recently concluded East Africa interparliamentary games held from 1st to 10th December 2017 in Dar-es-Salaam, Hon Capt Evelyn Asiimwe won three gold medals for golf, tag of war and walk race.
She also won two individual trophies as the best female golfer as well as the overall best golfer of the year.
The Uganda team included among other as Hon Lt Gen Ivan Koreta, Hon Katoto Hatwib and Hon Odongo Otto.
The Ugandan team managed to emerge as overall winner .
Other games played include Netball,Football, Athletics and Volleyball.
Asiimwe is also the Director HIV/Aids at the UPDF General Headquarters.
