Controversial academia Dr. Stella Nyanzi has on Friday officially joined Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) as a certified party member.
Nyanzi took the decision during the swearing ceremony of the new party President Patrick Amuriat Oboi at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi.
Posting on her Facebook page, Nyanzi said she decided to become a member of the main opposition party after thorough thinking and her yearning character for change in Uganda.
She reveals that FDC is the only party in the country where she finds true fellowship with people invested in ousting President Yoweri Museveni.
She posted;
After much thought, I have joined the Forum for Democratic Change immediately after the swearing in ceremony of the new party president. I am very desperate for change in Uganda. FDC is the political party where I find true fellowship with people invested in ousting Museveni and ending the military dictatorship. I summon all Ugandans committed to regime change to come end the year in style by joining the FDC! There is a lot of work to be done.
