Nakawa grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi has granted bail to four more suspects accused of murdering former police spokesperson AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.
The four include Swalleh Ddamulira, Sauda Ayub, Sinani Hibwaji and Asuman Mugoya.
These were released on a Shs50million non-cash bail after presenting in court two sureties each.
Through their lawyers led by Anthony Wameli and Godfrey Turyamusiima, the accused told court that it was their right to get a mandatory bail having spent more than six months on remand.
Those released on bail are: Sauda Ayub, Swaleh Damulira, Fiswali Hibwenge and Asuman Mugoya.
In his ruling Nakawa grade one magistrate, Sajjabi said that the bail application had merit and thus released them temporarily.
On November 7th, this court released the first seven suspects in this murder case on bail. Four of these however, were rearrested within minutes after released and detained at Nalufenya Police station.
Two of the four, Abdul Majidu Ojegere and Ibrahim Kisa appeared in court today.
