SC Villa returns to action on today, 21st November 2017 against Arua based outfit Onduparaka during match day 12 at the Masaka Recreational Stadium.
The game comes just two days after the emphatic 1-0 home win against Bright Stars at the same venue.
Since the Bright Stars game, the Jogoos remained in Masaka, camped at Hotel Ram Hotel.
There were two training sessions, first, a light recovery on Sunday morning before the last training on the eve of the game.
Head coach Wasswa Bbosa has reported that the morale in the camp is high following Saturday’s well worked out victory.
“The morale of the players is high and we look forward a good match on Tuesday against Onduparaka” Bbosa revealed after the last training.
Left back John Adriko (injured his left ankle against Bright Stars on Saturday) and winger Simon Sserunkuma (was left in Kampala) are ruled out of the match.
Whereas Adriko could be available in the next game against Express this Friday, Sserunkuma is still sidelined for another week.
Head to Head clash against Onduparaka:
This will be the third meeting between the two clubs. A total of 12 goals have been scored in the previous two matches.
The first game happened at the Betway Green Light Stadium when the hosts won 4-3.
In the return leg at Masaka Recreational Stadium, SC Villa Jogoo whitewashed the Catarpillars 4-1.
The third meeting for these two clubs is expected to be epic and tense given competitive nature of the two clubs.
Both SC Villa Jogoo and the Caterpillars are tied with 19 points, one less of leaders Police.
Unless otherwise, Samson Kirya will be expected to maintain his number one slot in between the goal posts.
Joseph Nsubuga, Ibrahim Kiyemba, Henry Katongole and captain Ibrahim Kiyemba will take the back four defensive positions.
Home boy Nicholas Kasozi, Abel Eturude, Farouk Musisi, Vitalis Tabu, Martin Kizza and Allan Kyambadde will compete for the compacted midfield positions.
The team looks to the proven forwards as George Senkaaba, Alex Kitata, Yubu Bogere and Godfrey Lwesibawa for the much needed goals.
A victory for SC Villa Jogoo and anything less of a win for KCCA and Police will see the Jogoo ascend to the log summit.

SC Villa Jogoo 4-1 Onduparaka (Masaka)
