The residents of Buwambo village,Gombe division in Wakiso district, have this morning identified a bomb object while digging and reported the incident to Buwambo police.
According to the police spokesman SSP Emilian Kayima, Police has already cordoned off the area for public safety as they await the police bomb squad to retrieve it .
“We appreciate the vigilance shown by the people of Buwambo for notifying the police,” said Kayima adding, “We also appeal to the community to always notify the nearest police, whenever they come across any suspicious object within their surrounding,”
