After securing the first away victory of the season, Sports Club Villa Jogoo returns to the treasured MASAKA RECREATIONAL HOME today against Bright Stars.
The Jogoos won against BUL on Wednesday at Kakindu courtesy of Martin Kizza’s wonder strike.
Wasswa Bbosa and Paul Mutakabala’s charges quickly resumed training on Thursday, hours after the Jinja trip.
Good enough, the players responded well to the recovery session also attended by the returning winger Vitalis Tabu.
Once again, the team conducted the final session on Friday at Villa Park and will depart for Masaka early Saturday morning.
There are no fresh injury concerns. Only Simon Sserunkuma misses out as he continues with the rehabilitation process (now in the gym).
Coach Bbosa has the hope that the team will win at home come Saturday;
“We want to keep the rhythm. The players are well aware of the mission at hand” Bbosa told the club website after the last training session.
All the players who made the match day squad are fit for the match in Masaka.
Bright Stars defeated Arua based side, Onduparaka 2-0 in the immediate last game played at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.
