Kampala metropolitan police (CPS) are holding 15 suspects for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
The suspects were arrested during a city operation on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off , from a victim , the Police at central police station mounted an operation and phones worthy millions of shillings were recovered.
The operation according to KMP Deputy Police spokesperson, Luke Owesigyire targeted phone thieves around the areas of downtown.
During the operation, over 150 phones were recovered.
Owesigyire revealed that this operation will continue as festivities near.
