Not the best of starts to the 2017/2018 Azam Uganda Premier League season and the league holders are yearning to get back where they belong, and that’s on the summit of the 16 team log.
And as Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) host Masavu this Saturday at the StarTimes Stadium, they are determined and focused on finding that winning touch.
“Our hunger to deliver is too much, we are not happy with the way we played against Villa and we must make amends in our next games starting with the immediate one against Masavu,” said Goalkeeper Charles Lukwago who has kept goal in three of the seven games so far this season.
“Much as it’s just seven games played, when you look at the table, were we are is not where we should be. First of all we are defending champions and secondly everyone expects us to keeping tabs with the other teams wanting to dethrone us,” he added.
KCCA FC lie eighth with ten points, with just two wins four draws and one loss, the latter coming in the last outing against SC Villa in Masaka
Police are log leaders with 16 Points but have played a game more while Onduparaka and Vipers who have played the sane number of points are second and third on 14 and 12 points respectively.
