Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake Butebi has accused Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Frank Mwesigwa of forcefully injecting him with a dangerous red chemical substance aimed at killing him.
Zaake who is being hospitalized at Rubaga Hospital after being punched into coma by former UPDF Commander Gen. Katumba Wamala during the Wednesday fracas at parliament, alleges that Mwesigwa picked him from parliament and took him into a police van where he injected him with the chemical while warning him (Zaake) never to become a hurdle in the life presidency project.
“I had started gaining consciousness and realized that Frank Mwesigwa was carrying an injection syringe containing a red chemical substance which he forcefully injected into my body while warning me never to become a hurdle in their life presidency project. They then drove off from parliament and dropped me in the parking space of case clinic which they had earlier referred to as their hospital in their discussion,” Zaake revealed.
The harmed legislator further stated that when they reached at Case Clinic, health workers also tried to inject him with another chemical substance which he objected this time and vowed to sue them if they went ahead to do it against his will.
“While at case clinic, the health workers donning white appeared, put me on the stretcher, took me into a private room, tried to inject me with a chemical substance which I repudiated strongly and promised to sue them if they persisted, this they complied but forced me to drink some warm liqid. I requested them to call my relatives to which they agreed and since I was devoid of my phones I read them my dad’s number, they raised him and he appeared and caused my transfer to Rubaga Hospital in an ambulance,” he said.
