Igara West County MP Raphael Magezi has finally tabled the Age Limit Bill on the floor of parliament which aims at amending article 102b of the constitution thus allowing Yoweri Museveni stand for president in 2021 after clocking the age of 75 years.
The bill has been tabled shortly after the Speaker Rebecca Kadaga suspending 25 MPs amidst chaos and fist fights.
Unlike other bills, the age limit motion has been moved in the absence of all opposition MPs which walked out of the August House in protest.
The speaker asked NRM MPs to take up opposition seats to avoid being over squeezed.
Apparently, Magezi has been granted a 45 days leave to draft the bill after NRM MPs voted profusely to table the private member bill.
