Uganda’s deputy premier and East African Affairs Minister Kirunda Kivejinja was on Tuesday night involved in a motor accident at Magamaga along Jinja-Iganga road.
The old man was rushed for treatment at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital. He was later transferred to a private health facility.
This website understands Kivejinja did not suffer clear injuries.
However he was kept overnight for observation on doctor’s orders at the Nile International Hospital also known locally as the Turkish Hospital.
