Police have confirmed another gruesome woman murder in Wakiso District bringing the number to at least 21 women killed since May this year.
Police spokesperson Asan Kasingye confirmed that Harriet Nantongo Bakiya ,38 who went missing last week has been discovered dead.
‘‘Yes. It’s true. It’s the body of Nantongo Harriet, wife to Musiba Noah a resident of Kabale’A’ Katabi town council.’’ Said Kaingye.
The deceased was discovered on Tuesday morning while naked and dumped in a bush in Nkumba Bwaise in Katabi town council Entebbe municipality Wakiso district.
A week ago, Nantongo together with her husband left their home for work in the morning and that was the last time her husband last saw her.
Recently, the minister of Internal Affairs, Gen Jeje Odongo, blamed the rampant killings of women to “Illuminati” adding that he knew two businessmen who had hired a convicted serial killer to carry out ritual murders to bring them prosperity.
