Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine on Monday arrived in New York to attend the Global Citizens Week which happens annually on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
The legislator will be speaking about healthcare in Uganda, alongside other eminent speakers and they shall be demanding that governments, including that of Uganda, to increase government funding towards their citizens’ healthcare!
Bobi Wine’s departure comes at a moment when NRM MPs are planning to table a private members bill before parliament this week aiming at amending article 102b of the constitution.
This means the singer is going to miss out on the sensitive debate.
