President Yoweri Museveni received and held a meeting with a group of investors from Lebanon at State House, Entebbe.
President Museveni and the Lebanese entrepreneurs, who were led by Mr. Ahame Alharin, Secretary General of Future Mount, reviewed sectors in Uganda that need investments such as Information Communication Technology (ICT), manufacturing and assembling of computers and cell phones, agro-machinery and mining as well as aviation, among others.
The President informed his guests that market opportunities for the products in the mentioned sectors could be procured in the East African and Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Regional member countries.
The Lebanese delegation of investors commended President Museveni for receiving them and expressed their interest invest in areas of agro-processing, Banking, building Airport facilities, commercial agriculture and ICT, among others.
