This arrest posed so many questions regarding the expertise used by the flying squad officers in apprehension of these culprits.
When contacted, Commandant Flying Squad ACP. Muhangi Herbert stressed that flying squad uses different tactics in fighting violent and organised crimes.
“We oftenly use human Intel, technical Intel and subject it to thorough analysis”,he said. Flying squad operates based on high level security intel. Its out of this that police maps out blackspots and criminal watch lists. These watch lists include armed robbers, kidnappers, vehicle thefts, conmen and land fraudsters.
