Andrew Okoth an employee of Umeme Kiwatule branch who allegedly killed his suspected girlfriend Fahima Natoolo an employee of Tropical Bank has been arrested.
He was netted along Uganda- Kenya Border trying to Escape to Nairobi.
Okoth has been on the run since the beginning of this week.
According to police, Natoolo was murdered on Sunday morning last week.
The suspected murderer had asked Natoolo to spend a night with him at his home in Mbalwa Nabwojja, a Kampala suburb.
Okoth’s neighbor who allegedly witnessed the two fighting on Sunday morning gave directions to Natoolo’s family members who went with police to Okoth’s rented house after spending days without hearing from her.
And upon breaking the door to the house, they discovered Natoolo’s body lying in a pool of blood.
However, Umeme have disowned him saying they don’t have any staff going by that name. New finding discover he was working with HASO stores in Kiwatule as a clerk.
