On Monday while addressing the media, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) President Moses Magogo said that they offered to double former Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s pay in a bid to keep him but he rejected it.
Magogo revealed that when Micho expressed his intention to part ways with Fufa, they did everything possible to convince him stay which included doubling his salary.
However, Micho who canceled his contract with Fufa citing non-payment of salary worth shs230 million has responded to Magogo’s claim saying that he never rejected the double salary offer but he would be the biggest moron on this plant if he accepted Fufa’s promise of double pay yet even the single was never paid.
“Never rejected double salary offer but would be the biggest moron on this planet if accepted promise of double yet even single was never paid,” Micho tweeted.
