On Saturday, Uganda Cranes coach Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic terminated his contract with the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) citing outstanding debt of salary and bonuses of Shs 230million.
Micho revealed the ‘painful’ information during a press conference held at Kabira Country Club.
Immediately after resigning, Fufa released an official statement confirming that they have received a resignation letter from Micho.
Fufa wrote;
FUFA is in receipt of a letter from Mr. Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic terminating his services as Uganda Cranes coach.
FUFA would like to thank Mr. Sredojevic for the services rendered to the Uganda Cranes during his time as coach of the National team especially when he guided the country to the AFCON finals in Gabon for the first time since 1978.
Ugandans will forever keep those memories with them.
FUFA will keep the public and members of the football family updated in due course on the way forward about the technical aspects of the Uganda Cranes.
FUFA wishes Micho the best in his future adventures.
It is Our Game, It is Our Country.
