Bobi Wine, superstar reggae musician and Member of Parliament, excited revelers attending the opening of the three-day cultural tourism expo.
The fair started at Uganda Museum in Kamwokya on Friday and it will close on Sunday.
Bobi Wine, joined by ministers Godfrey Kiwanda of tourism and Peace Mutuzo of Culture, inspired the young and older people attending the expo to love their country and make their culture the core of their dreams to transform Uganda.
He called upon government to support art so that it can be used to market Uganda.
Betty Aliba, director of marketing for Perfect Events, the organizers of the expo, said there are lots of things at the exhibition, games, music, food, storytelling by the fire place at night, among other things.
The MCs of the opening event, Deputy CEO of UTB John Ssempeebwa and Vivian Lyazi, Principal Tourism Officer in the Ministry of Tourism, set a stage for discussing culture and inspired Ugandans to showcase their cultural diversity as a pillar of Ugandan tourism.
