The ministry of Education and Sports has appointed the Director of Education at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA)Juliet Namuddu as care taker of Old Kampala Secondary School until the new head teacher reports for duty.
The school was closed for one week on Friday after students protested the move to transfer their head teacher Azida Ntegana Nsubuga.
The Education ministry spokesperson Patrick Muyinda says the ministry has decided that Namuddu takes care of the school up to August when the new Headmaster will report to his new work station.
He says a new board should also be in place before the new head teacher comes to avoid clashes.
