Last night police in Bweyogerere shot Geoffrey Massa, a former Uganda Cranes striker.
It all started when police officers found Massa’s car parked by the road side at Kakajjo (Bweyogerere) late in the night, asked him to open and he refused.
He tried to take off thus knocking the police bike before speeding off, which prompted the officers to shoot at the car.
The lady he was with died on the spot, while Massa sustained a few injuries. He is currently at Ggwatiro clinic in Bweyogerere.
In March this year, Massa officially retired from international football after spending 12 years on the national team.
