Celebrations are at a high peak in Kyadondo East as celebrated singer Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine defies all odds to win Kyadondo East parliamentary seat by-election.
In a highly contested race, Bobi Wine has managed to defeat his rivals by landslide.
The singer was announced winner by Nkurunziza Seb Francis, Returning officer Wakiso Electoral District.
Independent candidate Bobi Wine who won by a landslide garnered 25659 votes, NRM’s Sitenda Sebalu got 4556 votes, FDC’s Apollo Kantinti came third with 1832 votes whereas Muwada Nkunyingi got 575 votes and Sowedi Kayongo Male got 377 votes.
