Recently many of us thought that State Minister for Investment Evelyn Anite was trying to crack a joke when she said that in the near future owning a UTL SIM card was going to be mandatory to all Ugandans.
Now it’s high time we begin to realize that the minister was damn serious.
Today Anite gave out free Ka-touch phones and UTL SIM cards to over 14 youths who had gone to visit her in her office.
And this is a clear indication that she is seriously embarking on her earlier plans of making the ‘poverty stricken’ Uganda Telecom company great again.
