Uganda National Roads Authority has completed one of the vital structures at Nambigirwa bridge project that is constructed along Kampala – Entebbe Express highway which has been ongoing for some years now.
Nambigirwa bridge project which started in 2015 that is constructed along Kampala – Entebbe express highway build on a marshland measuring 1.5 km long.
For the record; East Africa has not had a bridge as long as Nambigirwa bridge.
Work is still ongoing at the 1.5 km bridge, this bridge is going to ease the traffic on the Kampala – Entebbe highway therefore helping in the transportation of goods.
This means business personals will be spending little time in transporting their goods most especially the bulky ones like fish, tomatoes and many more.
