Unpaid for comedy has transpired in Parliament today morning as MPs blocked Forum for Democratic Change (FDC)’s Ingrid Turinawe from giving her campaign speech.
Ingrid who is one of the 47 East African Legislative Assembly(EALA) candidate, was called by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to come and deliver her speech but as she stood up, the House broke into a song: “We have refused Turinawe because she behaves badly,”
The speaker tried to calm them down over and over but the screaming could not be matched.
By the end of it, Ingrid was blocked completely from delivering her speech.
In her response, Ingrid said she count herself a winner since she has exposed the MPs at the national television.
“At the end of the day, am a winner, I have exposed who you are on national television, I am a winner,” Ingrid said.
