Leicester City’s players would welcome Nigel Pearson back
to the club following the departure of Claudio Ranieri,
according to the Daily Mirror.
Pearson helped Leicester stay in the Premier League in 2014-15, but was dismissed the following summer after falling out with the team’s owners. Roberto Mancini and Frank de Boer have both been linked with the vacant
position, but have ruled themselves out.
Claudio Ranieri was sacked as Leicester City manager on
Thursday night, nine months after guiding the club to the
first top-flight trophy in their 133-year history.
