Members of Parliament today on Friday are holding a special sitting to honour the late Moroto Woman MP, Annie Logiel whose body was flown into the country on Thursday.
Logiel died last week from Denmark where she was receiving treatment from. She was battling a brain tumor.
A requiem mass was held at Christ the King in Kampala for the fallen legislator in the morning.
After the mass, Logiel’s body laid in state for viewing at Parliament as legislators paid their respects to their fallen colleague.
Apparently, MPs are holding a special sitting for the late Logiel.
The deceased was the Vice Chairperson on the Parliamentary health committee.
