Parliament has disqualified three candidates for the upcoming East African Legislative Assembly race coming up next week.
Chris Obore, Parliament Director for Communications has said on his Facebook page saying the three were struck off the list for various reasons including being a none voter, another uses different names and the last one was authorized by wrong organs of his party.
“Three applicants were disqualified. One of them was not a registered voter. Another could not his different names and the other was nominated by UPCs unauthorized Secretary,” said Obore.
However, Parliament has listed 47 candidates who will be up for voting on Tuesday February 28.
