Murder prime suspect Mathew Kanyamunyu and two co-accused,Joseph Kanyamunyu and Cynthia Munwangari in the alleged murder of social worker Kenneth Akena have re-applied for bail before Kampala High Court.
Last month, the accused were denied bail by High court Judge Elizabeth Kibula Kabanda over pending investigations and failure to prove exceptional circumstance of granting them bail.
The trio is currently remanded at Luzira prison.
Last year in November, Mathew Kanyamunyu allegedly shot dead Kenneth Akena at Lugogo Mall parking lot after he ‘supposedly’ scratched his car.
