The Chancellor of Muteesa I Royal University Justice Julia Sebutinde has vowed to resign from the post if students continue staging violent strikes.
During graduation ceremony on Friday at the University main branch in Masaka, Sebutinde said she adores her reputation more than anything so she cannot be a controller for undisciplined students thus warning them if they don’t stop staging uncalled for strikes, she is ready resign.
The University graduated more than 1000 students in different disciplines.
Sebutinde was appointed Chancellor of Muteesa I Royal University by the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II. However, the Masaka based institution has been engulfed in violence since her installation last year.
