As senior government officials share shs 6 billion as presidential handshakes and other planning to procure a helicopter for the Speaker of Parliament and her deputy, many Ugandans are suffering due to poverty, prolonged drought, deteriorating health services among others.
From failing to buy a new cancer machine, government has now failed to provide drugs to health facilities.
The situation at Masaka Referral Hospital is not that pleasant as the centre runs out of anti Malarial drugs.
The patients are so worried regarding to the current situation and many have spent days without any sought of medical help.
According to Eliazer Mugisha, the principal administrator at the referral hospital, people from the eight districts in the greater Masaka sub- region are now being advised to seek help elsewhere.
