Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze who recently underwent a successful operation in India has revealed that she has been partially discharged.

The legislator  was operated on her back last Wednesday after being flown to India confined in a wheelchair as she could not move her spinal cord after a confrontation with security officers at parliament in September during a fracas over age limit bill.

“By God’s Grace, partially discharged. Out of hospital, headed to treatment apartments for three weeks,” she said adding that she is even out of the wheelchair.

Nambooze’s medical bills were footed by former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye after Medical Board’s failure to pay the dues on time.
