Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) has today delivered the first batch of five thousand chicks to Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) headquarters Old Kampala, to be distributed to mainly Muslim youth and women groups across the country.

To the beneficiary groups, the Deputy Mufti urged them to treat and feed the chicks well so that they can grow up, multiply and create the desired wealth.

“UMSC will dispatch officials to monitor the progress of the beneficiaries and guide them accordingly” the Deputy Mufti told journalists who covered the event.

The UMSC Secretary General Hon. Haji Ramathan Mugalu said, like the government of Uganda, UMSC under its unity and development slogan is implementing several programs aimed at fighting poverty.
