Police in Gomba and Sembabule districts are in a junt for the thieves who raided president Yoweri Museveni’s farm.

It is alleged that  unidentified people stormed President Museveni’s farm in Kisozi and vandalised a wire mesh fence.

According to police, the thieves reportedly raided the heavily guarded farm last Sunday night and made off with the wire mesh fence measuring about one kilometre.

Ronald Were, the officer in charge of criminal investigations in Sembabule District, confirmed the incident but said they have not yet arrested any suspect.

“We are currently conducting investigations into the matter and we are hopeful that the suspects will be apprehended according to the information gathered so far,” Were said.
