President Yoweri Museveni has wished Uganda Cranes well in their quest during the African Cup of Nations Tournament which is ongoing in Gabon.

In his message, President Museveni encourages the national team to focus and keep an eye on the prize.

“As you embark on this momentous occasion of representing our country, I encourage you to focus and keep an eye on the prize. Your presence at the AFCON continental tournament is well deserved. You represent a country and people on the move. Good luck and all the best,” President said.

Uganda cranes today is playing against Ghana in its first match in AFCON tournament after 39 years.

It should be remembered President Museveni didn’t officially send off the Cranes. Also, the government gave cranes only one billion shillings of the budgeted sh6 billion.
