Radio One FM fans have been left distraught by the departure of two of its best, long serving presenters in quick succession. Janet Napio, who has been presenting the very popular program Rhythm of the Night and Paula, who has been in charge of Lunchbeat left the station at the end of last year.

They have been replaced by Soul Train’s Beebe junior and Tonny respectively.
Napio broke the news on her facebook page thanking all those who listened to her for all the nine years she has spent on the station.

“It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure- Ernie Harwell. This is me saying goodbye to Rhythm of the Night. It’s been nine years of nights of great songs and great memories. To everyone who listened to me and thought I was awesome, thank you for listening and God bless. I am now nocturnally jobless. Anyone know where the partial jobless sisterhood office is? …” Napio wrote on her wall.

The task is now with Tonny and Beebe Junior to fill the big stilettoes left by the now gone female presenters.
One fan was overheard saying the two men will drive away fans.

Soon after quitting, Paula travelled to Nairobi for further studies while Napio’s next course of action Is yet to be known although word reaching our desk is that some radio stations have already contacted her.

Others who have left in course of six months include Irene ochwo and sports scribe Dhakaba Ismail kigongo.

Some of the stations discontented fans had this to comment upon Napio’s departure;
