Prime minister Ruhakana Rugunda and several ministers have been locked out of office over failure to pay rent.
The office of the Prime Minister postel building also houses the office of the president, the ministry of East African Affairs and a host of other offices, has been shut due to rent arrears.
Watchdog has not yet established how much the landlord demands, but civil servants have not reported to work today.
The landlord embarrassingly locked out the public servants who instead spent most of the day walking around or resting in their cars.
