The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, has invited the Uganda Cranes to play with all Busoga team.
The Kyabazinga sent a congratulatory message to the successful Cranes upon qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations.

“I salute our gallant sons, the entire Fufa Executive, the Government of the Republic of Uganda and all stakeholders of Football in Uganda upon this historic milestone that we should all savor,” said the Kyabazinga in a statement released by the Busoga Kingdom to congratulate the successful Cranes team and its management.
Kyabazinga Gabula also invited the Uganda Cranes to a football match with a select team from Busoga.
“I will be pleased to host the Uganda Cranes at an opportune moment with a match against a select team from the ongoing Busoga Kingdom Masaza competition and a dinner thereafter,” he said.
Gabula commended Fufa president Magogo for ‘revamping’ the success of the national side.
“I particularly commend you (Moses Magogo) for leading the Federation in revamping our football and specifically the success of the Cranes. This achievement is merited given your long and dedicated service to sports in Busoga and Uganda as a whole.”
The Cranes beat Comoros 1-0 at Namboole on Sunday to break a 38-year-old Africa Cup of nations (Afcon) jinx by qualifying for the 2017 in Gabon.
The Kyabazinga was among the spectators in Namboole and he was seen smiling ear-to-ear on the final whistle as jubilant Ugandans invaded the turf.
