Jeff Koinange Live show on KTN was possibly the most watched television show on Kenyan air. The Kenyan television personality who cut his teeth on CNN where again he was kicked out before re-launching his respectable career in Kenya.

This week, JK as he is popularly called in Kenya, said goodbye to another television unceremoniously. His departure followed a public outcry after he hosted two rival politicians who insulted each other on air, and he failed to call them to order.

Koinange hosted Miguna Miguna a nonsense lawyer who is vying for a Nairobi city governor seat.

Miguna tore into pieces Esther Passaris another aspirant for the seat. The two want to unseat incumbent Nairobi city governor Evans Kidero.

Muguna dug his verbal sword into Passaris, before the show turned out to be disgusting.

KTN succumbed to public pressure and terminated their contract with Jeff.

On his very last show, Jeff apologised to the viewers and announced it was the last show on KTN.

“Anyone who felt offended by the show between the two personalities should understand that its hard to control a live show but i apologise to anyone who felt aggrieved,” he said after hosting singers Sinach and Emmy Kosgey.

He, however, promised to be back on air, and rumour has it that he was headed to either NTV Kenya or K24 the channel he founded but sold to Uhuru Kenyatta.
