The Kenyan government has on Saturday deported Koffi Olomidde. The government which denounced the action of the singer put the Congolese who was due to perform in Nairobi, on the plane back to France.

Police in Kenya on Friday arrested Congolese singer Koffi Olomide at the Nairobi based television station Citizen TV studios over assault of female colleague at Jomo Kenyatta international airport on Friday morning.

The Congolese star kicked a female dancer on her buttocks at the Airport.

Koffi Olomide was on Friday captured on tape kicking the dancer before Kenya police officers were forced to intervene and hold back the singer who appeared unperturbed by what he had done.

In the video that has gone viral, an agitated Koffi is seen heading to the dancer and unleashing a kick on her behind. Police officers who were at the scene rushed to calm him down, before his handlers escorted him to his car which immediately sped off.

Mr Olomide was scheduled to perform in Nairobi, at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday, July 23.

The media is awash with a story of one of the dancers having issues with Cindy (lead singer) and on arrival at JKIA they had an altercation then slapped her. Koffi was informed about the incident and became so furious. He pounced on the dancer and kicked her in front of the Kenya police and other passengers.
